Danjer Cove is a bay situated on the northwest side of Plunder Island. The way there is said to be extremely dangerous, including such hazards as thick overgrowth of vines and ipecac plants, a Massive, Man-Eating Snake, and a quicksand pit. The cove is bordered by huge rocks and a small waterfall. It is rarely visited by most Plunder Islanders, and its name as well as that of the Pirates of Danjer Cove are often enough to invoke fear.
The monkey-infested ship The Sea Cucumber is anchored in the offing of the cove. It appears to be always nighttime in Danjer Cove, despite daylight hours persisting on the rest of the island.

- Much like the vultures in The Secret of Monkey Island, the sharks in Danjer Cove will start to follow Guybrush once the player visits the cove. They show up circling in any location that has ocean set at its backdrop such as Puerto Pollo, the Brimstone Beach Club, the windmill on Blood Island, and Skull Island.
